Handcrafted Kitchen Knife Returns

Due to the handcrafted and high-value nature of our kitchen knives, we have a specific return policy to ensure fairness and transparency.

1. Damaged or Defective Items:

  • If your knife arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  • Provide clear photographs of the damage or defect, along with your order number, to tahomahauptman@gmail.com.

  • We will assess the issue and, if deemed damaged or defective, provide one of the following options:

    • Repair of the item at no cost to you.

    • Replacement with a comparable knife (subject to availability).

    • Full refund, including original shipping costs.

  • In the case of a damaged or defective product, we will cover the return shipping costs.

2. Returns for Other Reasons (Unused Condition):

  • We understand that sometimes a knife may not meet your expectations. However, due to the unique nature of each handcrafted piece, returns for reasons other than damage or defect are subject to the following conditions:

    • You must contact us within 14 days of delivery to request a return authorization.

    • The knife must be returned in its original, unused, and undamaged condition, including all original packaging and any accompanying accessories.

    • The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance and tracking.

    • Upon receipt and inspection, if the knife is deemed to be in its original, unused condition, a refund will be issued, minus the original shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee. This fee covers the time and materials involved in handling the return and restocking a unique, handcrafted item.

    • Items that have been sharpened, used, or damaged by the customer will not be accepted for return.

3. Inspection and Refund Process:

  • All returned knives will be thoroughly inspected upon receipt.

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving and approving the returned item.

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

4. Custom or Personalized Orders:

  • Custom or personalized knife orders are final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds, except in the case of manufacturing defects or damage during shipping.
