
Handcrafted Kitchen Knife Returns
Due to the handcrafted and high-value nature of our kitchen knives, we have a specific return policy to ensure fairness and transparency.
1. Damaged or Defective Items:
If your knife arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Provide clear photographs of the damage or defect, along with your order number, to tahomahauptman@gmail.com.
We will assess the issue and, if deemed damaged or defective, provide one of the following options:
Repair of the item at no cost to you.
Replacement with a comparable knife (subject to availability).
Full refund, including original shipping costs.
In the case of a damaged or defective product, we will cover the return shipping costs.
2. Returns for Other Reasons (Unused Condition):
We understand that sometimes a knife may not meet your expectations. However, due to the unique nature of each handcrafted piece, returns for reasons other than damage or defect are subject to the following conditions:
You must contact us within 14 days of delivery to request a return authorization.
The knife must be returned in its original, unused, and undamaged condition, including all original packaging and any accompanying accessories.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, including insurance and tracking.
Upon receipt and inspection, if the knife is deemed to be in its original, unused condition, a refund will be issued, minus the original shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee. This fee covers the time and materials involved in handling the return and restocking a unique, handcrafted item.
Items that have been sharpened, used, or damaged by the customer will not be accepted for return.
3. Inspection and Refund Process:
All returned knives will be thoroughly inspected upon receipt.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receiving and approving the returned item.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
4. Custom or Personalized Orders:
Custom or personalized knife orders are final sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds, except in the case of manufacturing defects or damage during shipping.
